Father's Day

I just wanted to post my very own, punny idea for a Father's Day gift. David actually received two decorated t-shirts, but the other wasn't my original idea. This one was. Feel free to pin. :D hahaha If you're wondering why I didn't include my husband's face, it was b/c he really doesn't love having his picture taken. But he was fully cooperative when I promised I would only take a picture of the shirt.

All of our family's handprints, including first initial and ages (except for mine).

"HAND-Y" MAN. :)

There's no need for a tutorial, but I did want to share some tips that I came across. If you are already the owner of acrylic paints, all you need is fabric medium (available at craft stores, ie. Michael's) to make your own fabric paint. You mix the fabric medium with your desired color and just paint, allow to dry, and heat set. I used fabric marker for the back - no heat setting required.
I hope you all had a wonderful day and had the opportunity to show extra love to the wonderful husbands and fathers in your lives!

  1. Cute idea! I think since joining pinterest I won't have any more original ideas. :)
